Six players from the GWFC were honored on this year's team, including four from Cal Poly and one from North Dakota State. The Sports Network conducts the primary weekly media poll while also administering the major individual player awards. UC Davis, which finished 6-5 overall and shared the conference championship with Cal Poly at 4-1, will open its 2006 season on Sept. 2 at Northern Colorado. The Aggies have been ranked as high as 15th in preseason polls already released. Information courtesy UC Davis ICA/Media Relations
